JANUARY

city-wide event co-sponsored
by the Seattle Department of Neighborhoods, Antioch Center
for Creative Change, the Center for Ethical Leadership,
PeerSpirit, Puget Sound Network for Nonviolent Communication,
the New Road Map Foundation and others.
Sunday,
January 13th was a launch party and hands-on demonstration
at Elliot Bay Book Company in Pioneer Square with refreshments
and celebrity guests from local television, radio, movies
as well as civic and political leaders.
There
were over 24 cafés
city-wide, with celebrity participation
by almost
the entire City Council, several beloved religious leaders,
and some media personalities and civic leaders.
