How to Host
a Conversation Café Anywhere!
Learn
our simple, elegant process and then bring respectful conversation
to your neighborhood, organization, church, or workplace!
Conversation
Café host trainings are open to anyone and take new
and prospective hosts deeper into the basic principles and
"situation handling" of hosting Conversation Cafés.
Our time together will also include a practice conversation
and a question/answer period. This free training is co-sponsored
by Conversation Cafés
and Safeco's Jackson Street Center Neighborhood Academy.
By attending
the training, you will occasionally receive notices about
one-time hosting opportunities, such as "Super
Cafés," when we add organized conversations
to a public event and assemble hosts to lead those conversations.
We hope and expect that in return for the training you will
either start your own regular café, or
respond to at least 2 local hosting opportunities in a year.
We never give out or sell your e-mail addresses.
Please
check this page regularly or join the Conversation
Café Yahoo! Group email list to be notified of
upcoming training opportunities.

Donations are Appreciated!
Conversation Café is a project
of the New
Road Map Foundation, which is raising funds to keep
the support for Conversation Cafés sustainable. There
is no charge for the host training. The instructor is a
volunteer dedicated to our purpose of creating a culture
of face-to-face public conversations that are respectful,
inclusive, and inspire new understandings. To help us reach
more potential participants, we will ask at this class for
contributions of any amount to the New Road Map Foundation.
Thank you!
