The Earth Day Conversation Café

Dear Seattle friends,

I hope you'll celebrate Earth Day outdoors for some conservation activities...and indoors for some conversation about our shared future with the rest of life on this beautiful, living home of ours.

Please join me and perhaps a couple of hundred neighbors at this Earth Day Conversation Café. And remember, at the nineteen ongoing Conversation Cafés in Puget Sound, every day IS Earth Day—we need conversation to make sense of our times.

Many thanks,
Vicki Robin

Special guest:
Steve Nicholas, Director, Office of Sustainability and the Environment

6 billion people...
10 million + species...
30 billion usable acres...
How can we all live well
within the earth’s means?

At this Earth Day Café we’ll ask:

What are your favorite strategies for a livable future?
Are you hopeful or fearful – and why?
What can people do? What can leaders do?

Change happens!! New Cafés form. Old Cafés close. For the latest information check here or call the (206) 781-5700 hotline.

MORE ABOUT CONVERSATION CAFES

Conversation Cafés are a citizen initiative, hosted by the New Road Map Foundation. Everyone is welcome. There's nothing to join. Anyone can come, just once or many times. There are no books to read, no assignments, and no dues (except a bite to eat at the café).
