Conversation Cafés are a citizen outreach program, dependent on volunteers for success. We would love your help and talents! Unless otherwise noted, please contact [email protected] if you're interested in any of the following.
OUTREACHAttendance at Cafés is directly proportional to outreach. We need people to Distribute Flyers at:
- places you frequent
- your workplace
- bulletin boards in your neighborhood
- meetings you go to
- events you attend
Every new person who attends a café, if they have had an enjoyable experience, should leave with some flyers to post and give to friends. Hosts will always have flyers with them.
Distribute information to your email lists. THIS IS THE MOST ECOLOGICAL, POWERFUL AND COST-EFFECTIVE WAY TO GET THE WORD OUT. Once people start getting multiple copies of our message, we'll know we're beginning to saturate the larger community.
We need people to Make Announcements at:
- church
- meetings
- other social gatherings
Start a Conversation Café yourself!Read the host manual to see if this is your kind of fun. Find a café. Find a cohost.
