This is the core of Conversation Week! Here's where it all happens.
Conversation Week depends on people around the world hosting a small conversation in their community. New for Conversation Week 2008, you also have the opportunity to host an online Conversation Café. Our Conversation Week 2008 partner is Global Mindshift , an online dialogue community. They say, "To change the world, change your mind" and their over 6000 members worldwide have engaged in over 100 conversations that are doing just that.
Through this partnership you will be able to host or attend a conversation in person in your community - or online. Online hosts will also be trained in the Conversation Café method. This will expand our dream of Conversation Week giving the world a chance each year to hear itself think.

SIGNED UP AND WANTING TO JOIN A PHONE TRAINING?
Hosting a Conversation - As a host, you take these main steps:
- Decide to host. Find a partner.
- Get trained in the Conversation Café method.
- Pick a time and location for your conversation.
- Advertise your conversation.
- Host your conversation!
We will provide you with all the resources you need to get trained, tips for advertising, and even topics you could talk about during your conversation. All you need to do is decide to do it.

- A personal mentor to work with you through any questions or concerns if you desire
- Training in hosting a meaningful conversation using a simple method you can use over and over again

- The chance to share your thoughts, ideas, questions, and answers with others

Responsibilities as a Host - What's asked of you?
- Find a co-host, someone to partner with in making this happen
- Get trained and comfortable in using the Conversation Café process (don't worry, you can do it!)
- Honor the process and agreements of Conversation Café during the conversation
- Take a moment to share what happened at your conversation
- Donate to Conversation Week to help cover training, project costs, and mailings
- Have fun!
